    Christmas Ensemble

    In the Advent of 2010, several CCB players had the idea to follow the old English “Carolling” tradition and play popular German and English carols in a small group at the Cologne Christmas market.

    The ensemble had barely started playing, when it was addressed by the Christmas market organisation and booked for several evenings.

    Since 2011, this has turned into a regular engagement: from the 21st November until the 23rd December, an ensemble of eight players from the CCB concert band and CCB Academy, perfoms as the official ensemble of the “Alter Markt” Christmas market, creating a festive atmosphere during Advent.
